strawberry sorbet - healthy - easy - best

This healthy, homemade frozen strawberry sorbet is the perfect summertime treat!

Its summertime and summer is all about strawberries and finding ways to stay cool.  This strawberry sorbet is so deliciously perfect for hitting both of those marks and its super healthy and easy to make to boot!

Trust me on this one youre gonna love this strawberry sorbet!

Ingredients for Strawberry Sorbet:

1 bag frozen strawberries
1 bag frozen blueberries
1 tablespoon raw coconut nectar (you can substitute honey or maple syrup if you like)
1 frozen banana
¼ cup coconut water

Directions to make Strawberry Sorbet:

Put all ingredients into a blender or Vita-Mix.  Blend until creamy, about one minute. You may have to scrape down the sides of the machine a few times if using a regular blender.

Serve immediately.

Place remainder in the freezer to enjoy later.

My daughter put frozen strawberries and frozen watermelon through our juicer with the blank in it and it makes a great sorbet! Straight fruit!

Sounds yummy to me! I often just throw some frozen berries along with a 1/2 banana into my Vitamix for a quickie sorbet. When I want something spicy, Ill add a bit of fresh jalapenos to a strawberry sorbet. Yummo! Keep on rockin the berries Sunnie and thanks for leaving your tips on A Healthy Kitchen :)
