		<description>Gosh Pete, I&#039;ve never experienced a problem getting the food to break down before it gets heated up.  Maybe you need an updated Vita-mix.  I&#039;m not sure about that, but I truly have never had the kind of problem you&#039;re describing.</description>

You may want to see if you can find a used one on eBay or Craigslist.org.  If you have a high speed blender of any kind, you can try Dr. Oz&#039;s Green Drink.  I recommend VitaMix because it works so flawlessly EVERY TIME, but that&#039;s not to say it&#039;s the only blender that will work.  I&#039;d encourage you to try Dr. Oz&#039;s Green Drink recipe with your current blender and see how it works out.  All the fruits and veggies in the recipe are fairly soft, so it should be OK (you may need to blend longer though).  Best of health to you and your husband.  Every step you take in the right direction is a GOOD STEP!</description>
