You love free stuff… right?  Me too!

I finally got around to watching SUPER SIZE ME, the documentary, and I’m so glad I did!  I found it online for FREE and YES, IT’S LEGAL!  I found this cool website called FREEdocumentaries.org and all the videos on it are free to watch online!

If you’ve been living in a cave and you don’t know what Super Size Me is, here’s what the publisher has to say about it…

“Super Size Me” is one man’s journey into the world of weight gain, health problems and fast food. It’s an examination of the American way of life and how we are eating ourselves to death. Filmmaker Morgan Spurlock unravels the American obesity epidemic by interviewing experts nationwide and by subjecting himself to a ‘McDonald’s only’ diet for thirty days straight. His Sundance award-winning feature is as entertaining as it horrifying as it dives into corporate responsibility, nutritional education, school lunch programs and how we as a nation are eating ourselves to death.

Be sure to give Super Size Me a watch.  After that, there may be lots of other great documentaries you’ve been wanting to see… and they’re all FREE!

After you’ve watched Super Size Me, I hope you’ll come back and leave your comments so others can be encouraged to give it a go.  I think it’s really worthwhile!

SuperSize me was incredible. Most people know that fast food is bad for them, but after watching the movie you may never eat fast food again. I might have fast food only once or twice a year since that movie.

I used to eat the odd McDonalds here and there but when I watched this film it really made me think twice. Especially the scene where Morgan was vomitting after eating too much McDs totally grossed me out.

The strange thing is that McDonalds response to the film was to add salads to its range. I read in a newspaper that the salads actually contain more fat than a big mac! Crazy huh!

It is crazy, and have you picked up the book “Eat This, Not That”? That’s sure a great book and I’m surprised by the amount of fat in some things that seem fairly innocent! Great book. Highly recommend!

The movie is zippy, laugh-out-loud funny, persuasive and at times horrifying, as Spurlock undergoes his unpleasant changes with good humor and bad tummy aches.

Hey thanks for the link I am coming back to you after watching it. I really loved it. This is a movie every American should see, although parts of it are close to unwatchable – notably an operating room sequence in which a pair of surgeons performs a gastric bypass, or “obesity surgery,” as they like to call it, on a dangerously overweight patient.

Yep, I had a gastric bypass myself. What a disaster. If you want to know more about it, stop by my ‘About’ page. Thanks for stopping by :)
