Dr. Oz’s Enzyme Boosting Green Drink to the rescue!

Enzyme Boosting Green Drink | healthy enzyme boosting, weight loss, green drink Rescue? Rescue what?

Me, of course! I’ve been feeling way too tired for way too long and then I happened to catch the Dr. Oz show and he was talking about a little green drink that can get me over those “tired of feeling tired” days weeks months.

He had me at “hello” “tired”! Apparently there’s something called “enzymes” that are really, really important to the healthy functioning of our bodies. In fact, without enzymes, our bodies can’t function at all.

So, I started researching enzymes … and, well, I wrote …

TIRED OF BEING TIRED | Get Over It with Enzyme Rich Foods!

It’s actually got lots of great information and I created a beautiful list of enzyme rich foods (perfect for Pinterest) — just for YOU! In case you want an even longer — more complete list — check this one out!

As you’ll see, if you scoot on over to the TIRED OF BEING TIRED link — there are lots and lots of nasty diseases, aches and pains that are caused by low enzymes, so I’m going to start focusing on including a significant amount of enzyme rich foods in my daily diet because I’m really tired of being tired. How about you?

Anywhooooo … Dr. Oz’s Enzyme Boosting Green Drink recipe was featured as a perfect way to get a healthy dose of enzyme rich foods each morning and I can tell you, it’s quick, easy, and super-yummy!

If you think you don’t like “green drinks” this is an easy one to start with because there are a lot of fruits in it so it’s plenty sweet and hides a plethora of good for you veggies. (wink, wink)

This lovely “green drink recipe” is also high in fiber, low-calorie and rich in vitamins.

On the enyzime green drink shouldthe orange/lime/lemon have the skins removed

Hi William, I always just ream the juice into it — or squeeze it if you have really strong hands.

Hi, just got my Vitamix yesterday. I tried this recipe and it came out very thick. And a little bitter (parsley?). Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Amy, Congrats on your new Vitamix. So far as the thickness of the smoothie, I’d recommend adding a bit more water until it’s the consistency you enjoy. So far as the bitterness, it could be the spinach or the parsley. There is quite a bit of fruit in this so I haven’t ever experienced a bitterness. You might taste each of the greens separately and see which one seems to be bitter. It could just be the particular bunch that you bought and on another day it wouldn’t be bitter at all. I’m afraid I’m not much help on this one because I haven’t experienced the same thing. You could always add a bit more fruit and see if that offsets it.
